The Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) is an international, multi-stakeholder organization dedicated to enhancing water stewardship.
The AWS Standard has been mapped to the IRIS Catalog of Metrics. The AWS Standard is an international standard that defines a set of water stewardship criteria and indicators for how water should be managed at a site and within the catchment in a way that is environmentally, social, and economically beneficial. The AWS Standard is primarily meant for use by facility and property managers, providing them a six-step continual improvement framework for water stewardship.
