Performance measures that help microenterprise programs evaluate and improve their institutional performance, and client outcomes.
FIELD, an initiative of the Aspen Institute dedicated to advancing microenterprise, develops and disseminates best practices related to the U.S. microenterprise industry. As part of this work, FIELD developed MicroTracker, a set of core performance measures that help microenterprise programs gauge and improve both their institutional performance, and their clients' outcomes. FIELD and the GIIN worked together to ensure alignment between select IRIS metrics and the MicroTest/microTracker measures. MicroTracker also collects data from microenterprise programs across the country on these standard measures to assess performance across the U.S. microenterprise industry.
