Metrics to support measurement of indoor air quality related to unclean fuels

The Clean Cooking Alliance works with a global network of partners to build an inclusive industry that makes clean cooking accessible to the three billion people who live each day without it.

The Clean Cooking Alliance produces research to build the evidence base for strategies that improve public health. The HAPIT tool provides analysis to support “estimating health changes due to interventions designed to lower exposures to household air pollution (HAP) of household members currently using unclean fuels (wood, dung, coal, kerosene, and others).” Individual IRIS metrics related to indoor air pollution leverage input measures and evidence developed by the Clean Cooking Alliance.
