A note to describe how to use IRIS+ with standards for private sector development programs
This mapping identifies synergies between the DCED Standard for Results Measurement and the GIIN’s IRIS+ system, which builds on the IRIS Catalog of Metrics and the Navigating Impact project.
The Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) is a membership group of donors and intergovernmental agencies focused on private sector development (PSD). The DCED has developed a Standard for Results Measurement which provides a practical framework for programs to monitor progress towards their objectives and better measure, manage, and demonstrate results. While the Standard is targeted at implementers of large donor-funded PSD programs, the theory, framework, and approach can be applied to impact investments and used by fund managers.
