This metric is intended to capture a detailed description of the product or service provided from among the options given in the definition.
Organizations can report on this metric at an organizational level (selecting all product/service details that apply) or for a specific product/service (selecting the product/service detail for which the organization is reporting).
Organizations providing water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services may use this metric in conjunction with WASH Facilities Type (PD3668) to more specifically describe the facilities provided to target stakeholders through their investments.
Metrics identified as "cross-category" are those that are relevant to any IRIS+ Impact Category or Impact Theme (i.e., these metrics are not specific to any particular industry/category or theme).
