IRIS Catalog of Metrics

IRIS metrics are designed to measure the social, environmental and financial performance of an investment.

To use IRIS metrics—and the resulting data—as part of the investment management process, IRIS metrics should be used and analyzed in generally accepted sets and according to well-defined objectives. To access generally accepted Core Metrics Sets by Theme or Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), set up a profile.

  • Length of Road Built or Improved (PI5587)

    Length of road built or improved by the organization during the reporting period.

  • Length of Streams Present (PI3239)

    Length of freshwater streams present during the reporting period on protected land, land under sustainable stewardship, or land under sustainable cultivation.

  • Length of Streams Restored (PI6885)

    Length of freshwater streams under management for ecological restoration on protected land, land under sustainable stewardship, or land under sustainable cultivation during the reporting period.
