As a part of IRIS' and the Build Healthy Places Networks' (BHPN) ongoing efforts to address fragmentation in reporting social and environmental performance information, the GIIN and BHPN partnered to provide guidance for impact investors on how to use impact metrics in accordance with both organizations' tools.

On June 28th, 2017, the GIIN and BHPN hosted a webinar delineating this partnership and explaining the use case for both IRIS and the Metrics for Healthy Communities. The webinar also discusses the ways in which investors can effectively incorporate positive health outcomes into community development investments.
